Privacy policy

This website collects no personal data. There is nothing to sign into, and what you answer is saved in your own browser, never sent to us or to anyone else.

What is not collected

• No account, sign-in or email address.
• No license or vehicle records: no license number, plate or vehicle details, and no field that asks for them.
• No cookies. The site sets none, of any kind.
• No sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, and nothing in localStorage but the entries listed below.
• No advertising, no tracking pixels, no data sold or shared.
• No fingerprinting, and no profile of you anywhere.

Fonts are served from this site, so opening a page makes no request to Google or anyone else.

What is saved in your browser

So you can pick up where you left off, the site keeps these in your browser’s own storage (localStorage), on your device only. None of it is sent to a server, and none of it is part of what is counted.

Class A/K or class B, once you pick one.

ds-book

The page of the preparation book you last read.

They stay until you remove them: with the Clear saved data button on the about page, or by clearing this site’s data in your browser’s settings. On a shared computer, do that when you are done.

What is counted

Which pages are opened, and a handful of actions such as starting a mock exam, so the site can be improved where it is actually used. It is measured without cookies and without any identifier stored on your device, so it counts visits rather than people, and it cannot follow you to another website. Your answers are never part of it. If you report a question or vote for what to build next, that choice is counted too: a code from a fixed list and, for a report, the question’s number. There is nothing to type, so nothing you write can be sent.

What the hosting provider sees

The site is served by Vercel. Like any web host, it processes the technical details a request carries, such as IP address, browser and the page asked for, to deliver the page and to keep the service running. That happens at the network level for every website you visit; Driving Sathi neither adds to it nor receives a copy of it, and builds no profile from it.

Links that leave this site

Government pages and the Google Play listing open on their own domains, in a new tab. Once you are there, their privacy policies apply, not this one. Nothing about you is passed along with the link.

The Android app is separate

This policy covers this website only. The Driving Sathi Android app is a different product with its own policy, because it holds records you enter, on your device, never uploaded.
