Sources & independence
Driving Sathi is an independent study aid. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Department of Transport Management or any government body. Questions, traffic signs and exam rules are based on publicly available study material from the Department of Transport Management (DoTM), Government of Nepal. Nothing here is an official service, and a mock result carries no standing at a transport office.
Where the questions come from
The 500 questions of each license class, A/K and B, their six categories, the 25-question draw, the 30-minute limit and the pass mark of 60 all come from the 2082/83 question collections the Department of Transport Management (DoTM), Government of Nepal, publishes for each class, and the instruction sheet issued with them. Nothing is invented and nothing is paraphrased.
This is not an official question bank: always verify current rules, questions and fees on the official website. Government links open in a new tab, on the government’s own domain. This site never frames or re-hosts them.
Where the guides come from
Each guide names its sources at its foot, with the date they were last checked, and the transport offices page sets every office's own website beside the government page it was taken from. Rules, dates and fees are for each province and the department to set and change, so the office has the final word.
What is saved, and where
Only in this browser. Your answers, the questions you save for later, your mock exam results, your place in the preparation book, and the light or dark theme, language and licence class you pick are saved in this browser's own storage, on this device. No account, no login, no cookies, and none of it is sent to a server.
The moon or sun at the top of every page switches between light and dark. Until you press it the site follows your phone or browser, and Match the device in the footer goes back to that.
On a shared computer, clear it when you are done. This removes your answers, saved questions, exam results, place in the book, theme, language and class from this browser.
The full privacy policy and terms of use say the same thing at length.
The app
The Android app carries the same material plus what a browser cannot: offline access and the vehicle-owner tools. Records there stay on the device too; they are never uploaded.
What should we build next?
Pick one. Only your choice is sent, and there is nothing to type.
