Print status, and collecting the card
There is no one page that answers this for the whole country. The office that issued your license runs its own check, so the way in is your office's own website. Until the card reaches it, the temporary license issued when you paid is what you carry.
Where to look
- 1Open your own transport office's website, not a national one.
- 2Find the Our Services block on its home page (हाम्रा सेवाहरू).
- 3Open the tile for viewing and collecting the license print (लाइसेन्स प्रिन्ट हेर्ने र बुझिलिने).
What you will find there
- Some offices run a separate site just for print status, as Ekantakuna does.
- Offices on the department's own hosting carry a license search on their domain.
- Some publish a list of the cards that have reached the office instead.
- A few run the lookup on a non-government host, which the office links itself.
The government is bringing these sites onto one pattern, so a print check can move to a new address. That is why this page sends you to the office rather than printing a link that ages, and it is the same reason the directory keeps websites and not deep links.
The offices, and their own websites
Open the one that issued your license and look for its services block. Offices without a website here are in the full directory.

These are the offices' own websites, not ours. Driving Sathi cannot see your license status, an office may not publish a check at all, and where one exists the office decides where it lives.
Collecting it
- 1Go to the office that issued the license, in person.
- 2Take your old original license, or the receipt for the revenue you paid.
- 3The office hands the card over at its license counter.
Until the card arrives
A temporary license can be issued on the day the revenue is paid, against that receipt. It is what covers you while the department prints the card and sends it to the office.
Common questions
- How do you check driving license print status in Nepal?
- Through the office that issued it. Each transport office runs its own check, usually linked under Our Services on its home page, so start from your office's website rather than a national page.
- Is there one national print status page?
- Not one that can be relied on. Offices run their own, on different addresses, and those addresses are changing as the government brings the sites onto a single pattern.
- What do you take when the card is ready?
- Your old original license, or the receipt for the revenue you paid. You have to collect it in person from the issuing office.
- What covers you before the card arrives?
- The temporary license issued on the day you paid the revenue, which the office gives against that receipt.
